INGREDIENTS
1 cup fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries or raspberries)
1,75 cups flour, sifted
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Half a teaspoon of salt
A third of a cup of butter
Two thirds of a cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 ripe banana, mashed

METHOD
1. Wash berries gently. Drain and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour onto them and toss lightly. Sift together remaining flour, baking powder, saltand baking soda.
2. Beat butter in to cream it. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, a little at a time. Add banana in 3 parts. Fold in the berries carefully.
3. Spoon batter into a greased loaf pan; bake at 220 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes, or until done.
