Amritsari Fish Fry
Serves 6 | Prep 30 mins

INGREDIENTS
3 cubes Maggi Magic Cubes - Vegetarian, crumbled
3 tablespoons NestlĂ© Fresh 'n Natural Dahi (yoghurt)
Half a cup of besan (chickpea flour)
1 tablespoon garlic paste
One and a half teaspoons of ajwain (carom seeds)
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
500g (small tikka pieces) fish
Oil

Garnish
onion, cut into rings
lemon, cut into wedges
METHOD
1. Mix together besanNestlĂ© Dahi, crumbled Maggi Magic Cubesgarlic pasteajwain and red chilli powder.
2. Marinate the fish pieces in the above paste for about half an hour.
3. Heat oil and deep fry the fish on medium heat until golden brown. Place the fried fish on a plate covered with tissue to drain excess oil.
4. Serve garnished with onion rings and lemon wedges.
